A common cause of under-utilization within a facility is conveyor inefficiency. STEPHENS-ADAMSON total range of Conveyor Belt Idlers carries the load to the discharge end. Features include: (1) Short moment arms between shaft mounting points and bearing centers to reduce shaft deflection and increase bearing life; (2) Flush End Disc geometry to avoid material build-up near seals and prolong roll life; (3) Replaceable and interchangeable rolls; and (4) Rugged frames to reduce vibration and fatigue for longer life.
Shaft:
- 17mm diameter - precision ground to assure proper bearing fit
- Milled slots in roll-shaft lock frame and roll, together forming a rigid assembly
Bearing:
- 17mm precision ground ball bearing
Seal:
- Cartridge type seal

2170 Series:
- Offset center roller
- 2° tilt in the direction of belt travel is built into frame to assist belt training
2200 Series:
- Inline
- 3 mounting holes per side
- Thick cross angle increases strength and reduces vibration and fatigue
