The 74 net hp (55 kw) TD7R continues a long series of conventional drive small crawlers and is designed for the needs of many different people in the construction or rental businesses. It is designed to be easily serviced or repaired.
The TD7R has a power train that combines a torque converter with clutch-brake steering. For many applications, this power train out performs and out pushes other machines that use hydrostatic systems, and in addition drastically lowers lifetime repair and maintenance costs and the machine can be given a 2nd life when all others need to be scraped out.
An industry exclusive, the TD7R dozer is designed so that even with the blade attached, the overall machine size remains within the 8’6” width limit for legal transportation. Also an industry exclusive, the TD7R is also available in a Direct Drive version that uses the 3-speed powershift transmission but removes the torque converter.
The TD7R is available in Standard, Long Track, and LGP versions in addition to Direct Drive. The approximate operating weights are 16,200 lbs (7 348 kg) for the standard undercarriage, 16,970 lbs (7 697 kg) for the Long Track and 17,630 lbs (7 997 kg) for the LGP version.
